Scotland Digs 2021

I was delighted to be commissioned to capture some images last month as part of a series by Dig It! to mark the end of the Scotland Digs 2021 campaign.

I was chosen to focus on the 1722 Waggonway Heritage Group’s work on the route of Scotland’s earliest railway in East Lothian and whilst it was a long day (and the rain held off) I really enjoyed being on the site and learning what happens as well as being lucky with being able to witness the big finds that particular day.

Thank you to everyone who was so welcoming at the site and especially to Julianne, Sally & Ed for such an enjoyable commission.

Do take your family to a dig site near you, trust me they will enjoy it more than you might think!
