Invercarse Hotel Artwork

Towards the end of last year I met up with the great team at the Best Western Invercarse Hotel to discuss putting up some of my artwork in their bedrooms to showcase high quality images of the local area. The hotel was looking to put up framed prints in their newly refurbished bedrooms.

What usually happens when I get enquiries such as these is that I try and visit the location, where possible, to see where the clients are planning on displaying the images. I do this for two main reasons, to give them advice on what type of image would work and indeed what finish/sizes I would suggest, given my experience in supplying my imagery in a wide range of formats and to a very diverse range of clients.

This visit is of course absolutely free and as well as measuring up the potential space to supply accurate pricing, I also look at the lighting in use in the room to the colour of the walls/interior and so on as all these things make a difference in how the images will appear and project themselves. I want the pieces to look stunning so that it attracts the attention of those using the space, the staff and indeed visitors so that the pieces themselves are a talking point. I also produce visuals, where possible, to help clients get a better idea of how the final images will look in the space itself which helps them understand what they can expect.

Showing such attention to detail is very important to me and no doubt to the client as the final result will impact upon them (as well as me) and project an image of their business to others. Having great imagery, printed and displayed in a great way projects a very professional image of the organisation that they take pride in everything they do.

All the materials and the suppliers I use are selected to ensure only the best quality artwork is supplied to my clients and only ever goes for delivery once I have personally inspected and approved each item. Certain artworks such as canvases or some types of prints can be produced very cheaply through Groupon deals or in supermarkets but the quality reflects the price of those products in my experience. I would not be happy supplying low quality artwork to clients as that gives the type of impression of my business that I would not want to be associated with.

Once the sizes, frame type and images were decided, the artworks were delivered within the two weeks to the client and after inspection and approval from the client, I was asked to return at a later date to discuss more artwork for the newly refurbished restaurant.

I was then asked to supply more framed prints for this area and the team liked my suggestion of a wall mural for one side of a wall that would cover the entire space with a large panoramic image that would match the lighting and interior of the area.

After another short period, both the framed prints and wall mural were supplied and promptly placed in their new home and I returned a few days later to capture some photographs of the new arrangement.

Thank you again to the team at the Best Western Invercarse Hotel for choosing Frame Focus Capture Photography to supply our amazing imagery for their hotel and I am glad they have had excellent comments and feedback from their customers about the images on display and most of all they are absolutely delighted with the products.Feel free to contact me to discuss how I can help you display some great Dundee Photography in your own business or premises.
